US Open live golf results, scores, and highlights from Saturday’s Round Three Leaderboard

0

The US Open continues to be played at the weekend on Saturday, but it will get even more difficult for the 62 golfers who managed to make it happen. That says a lot, considering Winged Foot Golf Club’s cut line is finished 6.

Consider this: Only six golfers score below average in Saturday’s competition, while only five got even points. That’s how challenging this course is, and the USGA certainly hasn’t made it easier as a host of this major.

However, we witnessed a lot of excellent golf during the first two days of competition, including competitors who were no longer on the field. Whether it’s beautiful close-up shots, late hits turned into unlikely birds or eagles shot off the trail, there were plenty of light-worthy shots from the 2020 US Open.

This weekend golfers will likely need more of those stunning shots as the game continues if they want to challenge the championship. As of now, Patrick Reed has sole proprietorship for the 1st place at 4-lower, followed by Pearson Deschamboe, Rafa Cabrera Bello and Justin Thomas at 2-less.

US Open updates, Round 3 highlights highlights on Saturday

2:57 PM: Three-stroke driving could Can’t be beaten at this point in the US Open.

2:11 pm: This is the soccer equivalent of hitting the ball 20 yards and then making it bounce another 30.

2:55 pm: Zach Johnson places another eagle on the board at number nine, but not by much.

1:29 pm: This is how it works on the way back to equality.

1:21 p.m.: Out of the rough, into the hole.

12:51 PM: Sungjae Im recorded the first bird from the eighth hole, and from an unstable location:

12:44 pm: Count ’em: 1-2-3-4.

12:36 PM: Some highlights early in the morning.

12:32 PM: Disaster.

12:10 p.m.: Staying equal in this course, in this tournament, is not something that impresses you.

the noon: Brian Harman with a superb shot into the bunker. It is a game like this that separates those golfers who have not been able to achieve success.

11:50 am: Shane Lowry would have undoubtedly preferred an eagle, but setting up a very young bird is not a bad consolation.

11 am: Lucas Herbert with the excellent peg to get to the hole – this is very difficult in the outdoors with such a steep bank.

10:50 am: Wonderful Hole by Patrick Cantlay:
